| POSITION SUMMARY: The Jr. Freight Forwarding Account Executive is required for a growing global logistics organization. The successful candidate is self-motivated, working hard to increase market share in Air, Ocean, Truck, Rail, Brokerage, and Warehousing in Far Eastern and European trade lanes. The Jr. Freight Forwarding Account Executive will deliver results through initiative, cold calling, developing current client business, and closing deals. We are looking for a junior person who is passionate about becoming a Freight Forwarding expert! |
| DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITI ES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: Develop and close new business opportunities Engage in cold calling activities, go out on client visits Prepare and deliver sales presentations Remain current on industry trends, sales opportunities, and the competition Prepare and submit reports |
| SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS In addition to initiative, integrity, strong work ethic and being a team player: Post secondary education is preferred Minimum 1 year of global transportation B2B sales experience Previous exposure to Freight Forwarding Sales (Air, Ocean, Truck, Rail, Brokerage, Warehousing) Knowledge of Import sales is a must, knowledge of Export sales is an asset Familiar with Far East and European trade lanes “Hunter”, with a track record of sales success |
