Director of business development
- Manage business development in the Calgary region;
- Perform a market study in order to develop a sales strategy;
- Promote the products and services to the selected cliental;
- Offer support to the branch personnel in sales;
- Participate in the launching of various marketing strategies and report on the results;
- Help the branch personal to close new customers;
- Work with the branch manager to ensure good service and support to new customers;
- Prospect and contact new potential clients and prepare/make corporate presentations;
- Help the branch manage a port-folio of new house accounts;
- Understand and know the products and its possibilities with the goal of increasing sales;
- Devote the time and energy to develop relations with entrepreneurs, renovators, vendors and other people that can develop sales;
- Know the market potential and the competition in order to develop sales strategies;
- Contribute to the business development objectives of the company by putting in place the means to obtain the goals.
Requirements :
- A graduate in sales, market development and/or related fields
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in sales especially in market development;
- Experience in the sales of products to the construction;
- Strong sense of initiative and independence and proactive;
- Proven abilities in negotiations and establishing business partnerships;
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and an ability to make contacts quickly;
- Good communication skills, bilingualism would be an asset;
- Oriented towards the customer, towards achieving results, having good business sense, knowing how to plan and negotiate, and persistent.
