Senior Piping Checker - Drafting Department
We are presently looking for a Calgary based piping checker for a large natural gas plant project. The ideal candidate will have minimum 10 years of Canadian experience with oil & gas facilities. You will require excellent technical knowledge, maintain customer expectations and be prepared to use Naviswork to check against.
Responsibilities:
- Checking the piping plan and isometric drawings
- Checking of vendor packages and other disciplines' drawings
- Checking of General Arrangements
- Checking of P & ID’s
- Responsible for checking to ensure that piping design is in accordance with all project criteria
- Check compliance with piping design guides, standards, specifications, and procedures
- Check that deliverables clearly depict the design
- Check constructability, operability, and safety in design
