Responsibilities:
- To be successful in this role, you will be savvy to contributing to company profitability and customer satisfaction by providing technical account management to specified customers and maintaining the highest standards of servicing and commissioning.
- To monitor maintenance and system modifications in the assigned service area or assigned Mechanical Siemens Building Technologies (SBT) service accounts in the most efficient manner in accordance with Company procedures.
- Continually review customer needs/demands and advise on and leverage the activities of Service Technicians accordingly on all assigned service accounts thru maintenance visits repairs training demonstrations etc.
- Ensure that all customers are advised of any system changes required to maintain compliance with the relevant Canadian Standards.
- Advise Service Supervisor and Dispatcher on service visits and resolve all callback issues.
- Manage the Contract Renewal process for assigned accounts in conjunction with the Service Manager.
- Represent SBT in all client discussion to secure each renewal. Review and ensure contract costs are accurate to encourage repeat year on year profitable renewal.
- Communicate renewal costs to be sent to customer and agreed upon at least one month prior to end of contract year.
- Ensure required quality and standards are achieved in accordance with the customer's requirements and the Company's quality assurance procedures and technical directives.
- Generate accurate, customized competitive proposals for small system modifications and repairs.
Qualifications:
- College/University degree in mechanical engineering.
- Industry/prior mechanical or sales experience will be strongly considered as well.
- Proven customer relations and sales abilities with regards to small work manage service maintenance performance.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to plan effectively and prioritize workloads.
- Self-motivated and calm under pressure.
- Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a broad range of customers in Mechanical Building Automation Systems.
- 5-7 years of experience preferred.
