We are currently recruiting Consumer Credit Associates at our Corporate Office in Edmonton, AB to provide outstanding support to our customers and retail locations!
Position Overview:
Consumer Credit supports The Brick credit card in conjunction with two third party credit lenders. Incoming calls are answered in an efficient and professional manner while providing the highest level and quality of care to our customers. The Consumer Credit team provides superior customer service through effective communication and the ongoing commitment to service excellence.
- Responsible for inbound customer service and credit calls
- Adhere to service excellence standards and always exceed customer expectations
- Promote & sell in-house products & services (credit products, reward products, etc.)
- Provide basic credit account information to customers (balance, payments)
- Perform account maintenance just as address changes
- Document all inquiries as required
- Enter and review credit card applications
- May be required to process routine clerical transactions in between calls
- Maintain acceptable performance standards, including effectiveness, efficiency and quality
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Post-secondary education an asset
- Bilingual language skills in English and French required
- Minimum 1- 2 years previous experience in a call centre / customer service / collection or credit granting environment is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly developed sales and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Attention to detail
- Results oriented
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment
- Proficient PC and keyboarding skills (Word, Excel, eMail)
