Responsibilities:
- Note: This position will relocate to Burlington, Ontario in 2014
- Co-ordination of civil works planning for HVDC and FACTS stations
- Establish offers including conceptual planning and cost estimation
- Technical and financial responsibility for the relevant scope of works in international turnkey projects
- Co-ordination and clarification of internal and external interfaces
- Determination and evaluation of risks and chances
- Participation in meetings with external customers
- Project control Technical lead of project team
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Civil Station Engineering
- Minimum 5-8 years of successful experience in control, protection, auxiliary supply of high voltage sub-stations
- Preferred experience with HVDC stations or projects
- Demonstrated project management and customer service skills
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and offer solutions to technical issues
- Understanding of functions and how the functions align with and support the business and operational processes
- Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts practices and procedures of particular area of specialization
- Provide general guidelines or train support and/or professional staff
