BOP Control System Technician
Responsible for a combination of shop and field based activities, including maintenance and repair activities on control systems and handling equipment.
• Learn and adhere to all company and Government safety regulations pertaining to the worksite
• Participate in safety initiatives
• Repair equipment as required
• Ensure that preventative maintenance is performed on equipment as outlined in maintenance manual
• Assist with housekeeping responsibilities
Educational Requirements:
• Registered Apprentice or Journeyperson in Heavy Equipment Technician (HET)
• Valid Drivers License
• H2S Alive (preferred)
• Standard 1st Aid (preferred)
Experience Required:
• Knowledge of service rigs or experiences in oil and gas industry an asset
• Experience with BOP Control Systems considered be an asset

• Must successfully complete Pre-Employment Screening process (drug and medical)
