| POSITION SUMMARY: An Inside Sales Representative bilingual in English and French is required at a growing Freight Forwarding and Customs Brokerage organization. The successful candidate MUST have 2-3 years of industry relevant experience in order to be considered for this role. Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills are required. |
| DUTIES/RE SPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: Participate in regular maintenance visits to existing clients and promote additional services (weekly call target of 15 in-person meetings and 20 by phone/email) Provide information on updates/changes to procedures, policies and regulations Gather client information on expansion plans, product lines, additional locations, mergers, acquisitions, affiliated companies, etc. and obtain referrals Introduce E-Commerce initiatives Sell insurance on shipments and provide quotations on new products Maintain accurate client database Respond to service issues, resolving any problems and handling any credit issues |
| SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS In addition to initiative, integrity, strong work ethic and being a team player: 2-3 years of Customs Brokerage and Freight Forwarding Inside Sales experience Post secondary education preferred CIFFA designation is an asset MUST be fully bilingual in English and French Professional communication and interpersonal skills Strong negotiation abilities Organized, analytical Customer service-oriented |
