Our client is looking for a strong sales person that has a strong pulse of the city and emerging trends. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing relationships with local businesses and negotiating group volume discount packages that will be advertised to a large audience (multi-million) across North America. Ideal candidate will have experience building new relationships, calling on a large volume of clients/accounts and is skilled in the art negotiating and 'closing the deal'. This is pure new business development role with an established online brand expanding operations in Canada.
Candidate with an affinity for online trends and technology and have a passion for innovation and educating clients on new technology are encouraged to apply. This role will involve heavy client interaction and networking. This role will be part of a growing international team with corporate head office in United States.
This is a highly entrepreneur role with tons of potential, candidates that can work autonomously in a fast pressured environment are highly encourage to apply.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of local sales experience (advertising, promotional, online)
- Excellent knowledge of local trends
- University and/or college degree
- Ability to work independently
Experience new business advertising sales executives in print, outdoor, online, radio, tv are ideal fits for this role.
