Documentum Developer
Position Description
The Content Management team is responsible for the build, deployment & tooling of various content management and collaboration platforms like Documentum, SharePoint, Excel Server, Project Server, Alfresco etc. Besides providing platform expertise, we offer economies of scale and ease of management by creating configuration management tools for a globally distributed infrastructure with almost 150 servers and 10+ TB of data. Innovation, performance, reliability, efficiency, ease of deployment & management along with aggressive ROI are at the core of this groups' mandate.
We seek a senior Documentum developer with 5+ years of experience in Documentum development. Candidate must be familiar with the Documentum Content Management suite of products 7 technologies like Content Server, WebTop, WebPublisher, BOF. Must have a deep understanding of core programming principles with expertise on at least one of the major distributed platforms and programming languages.
The candidate will be responsible for the design, engineering and rollout of any of the various products/platforms the team currently supports or may take in on this space, solution development along with application design & consulting for our business divisions.
A self starter with an ability to work in a globally dispersed team, have a problem solving attitude, understand a mixed & complicated infrastructure, excellent communication skills and a keen desire to learn and adapt to change are a prerequisite.
Skills Required
- 3+ years development experience with Documentum technologies
- Expertise in DFC/DFS/WDK development
- Experience with Documentum configuration, setup and performance tuning
- Application knowledge of relational database systems
- Team player with strong sense of commitment and ability to multitask and operate in a fast paced environment.
Skills Desired Nice to have
- BPM Workflow experience
- Captiva experience
- Experience with other Content Management or Collaboration platform, e.g., SharePoint, Alfresco
- Java/J2EE application development knowledge
