Responsibility/Main Job Tasks:

• Ensure that customers are greeted and receive excellent customer service in a friendly environment


• Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services


• Present and sell company products to customers


• Recommend, select and help locate the right merchandise, if needed, required to place special orders


• Describe product features and benefits


• Answer customer queries regarding the store and the merchandise


• Provide information about warranties, manufacturing specifications, care and maintenance of merchandise


• Ensure that the customer is satisfy with the product before processing payment


• Communicate new products, services and special promotions to customers


• Ensure that the customers knows Company return and exchange policy


• Implement special sales activities to reduce stock and aging products


• Maintain up  to date product knowledge


• Maintain sales record


• If needed, assist with inventory control


• Assist the merchandiser with restocking, price tags and maintaining a high-quality working environment


• Recognize and monitor security issues


• Working with MS office, customer databases, inventory and POS systems


• Assists in the implementation of company’s marketing plans as needed


• Ensure the store’s environment is kept clean and well maintained at all times


• Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in retail sales


• High school diploma or equivalent preferred


• Proven ability to achieve sales targets


• Strong understanding of sales and promotional techniques


• Extensive knowledge in computer parts and accessories


• Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise which entails lifting


• Strong interpersonal skills


• Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public


• Work requires willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed


• Computer product knowledge is an asset
