Account Executive

This individual will be responsible for generating revenue from new and past clients though consultative selling and exceptional customer service. The targeted market is small businesses. Specific quota and revenue requirements must be attained. The primary mandate will be to acquire new business while providing service to existing customers.

As the Account Executive, here’s what you can expect to accomplish:

Prospecting for new customers

Contacting potential clients as per leads supplied by the manager

Call inactive accounts on a regular basis

Follow-up on active clients with existing subscriptions and products

Provide company product information as requested

Prepare and render quotes

Sell email, business, consumer and new business lists. Also CD-ROMs, directories, data processing services and online products

Create and maintain Sales Force accounts, opportunities and leads

Process orders, including supporting documentation

Send appropriate marketing material as per client requests

Create and maintain daily, weekly and monthly plan as discussed with your manager

Update daily tracking reports

And here’s what we expect from you:

Must have a strong business sense with the ability to close sales

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Must have knowledge and experience with Windows OS

Knowledge of standard business practices

Foster and develop a positive team attitude

Demonstrate maturity and integrity

Attend all sales and training functions

Education, Experience, and Certification:

University Degree in business or marketing preferred

Must have previous business experience in sales or customer service

Must be familiar with CRMs
