Partnering with our client, we are currently searching for aDWEP Drilling Foreman. This position will be office based in St. John's for 6 months and move to the rig from then on.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for some office planning, advise on vendors/ procurement and review tangible offloading and inspections and assist with logistics for 6 months prior to rig arrival then go on the rig to supervise operations.
- Plan and execute activities related to oil and gas drilling as part of a high performance team.
- Safe completion of projects within planned cost and time goals.
- Project cost management and the accuracy of morning reports and cost data.
- Oversee logistics (equipment, manpower, materials).
- Work closely with engineering, subsurface teams, and vendors in planning and executing work.
- Maximize the rig team performance by building an enabling environment where everyone has the freedom to contribute, challenge and participate.
Essentials:
- 2+ years of experience.
- Current Well Control Certification., TWIC card, Deepwater HUET, RigPass and SafeGulf.
- Experience with SIMOPS.
- Experience with a major oil and gas company with an understanding of the safety management requirements involved.
- Experience with high angle wells.
- Eligible to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
